Cemmoria

The design challenge was to pick a hobby from a list and do research on it before creating something that would help people within the group, provide information to those with a slight interest, or introduce the hobby to the general public. The hobby picked from the list was taphophilia, which through research it was learned to be about having an affinity for cemeteries, rituals, how other cultures remember loved ones, and the stories the deceased have to share. The company Cemmoria is a space where people going through losing a loved one and those with taphophilia can come together and share history of those deceased. The deliverables created were a website that would be a community hub, a business card, and a brochure. The goal is to create a space where people can share their finds, and loved ones’ stories, and plan new areas they want to explore. Contributions to this project include: Copy writing, research development, branding development, website building, photography, and design layouts.
