CHRONEX

The design challenge was to create a board game that was not already sold and had a purpose. The developed game is a fantasy adventure board game with the purpose  to have fun and introduce people to fantasy-type tabletop games without overwhelming them with too many choices. The game’s goal is to collect ingredient cards, having the most by the end of the game. Players can pick a character, and place their character and a monster token on the board, having to battle the monster if landing on that space. As players play, they may lose items from the environment, and can also help or sabotage each other, making for a different play style each time. In the official game, there will be various ingredients on the cards for more variety. For the sake of resources and time, only fully produced one of each type for quick play-ability. The player cards all have strengths and weaknesses that will influence their roles against the monsters, as well as having abilities for when they play against players. The board game will be made out of a mat, allowing players to easily roll the fabric up and make the board last longer.  The contributions to the project include: Copy writing, Design layout, Packaging Design, Brand Development, And illustration.
